I have already tried it and it's great, the sandwich comes out a little drier than in a pan, but it's good. Next time I'll try adding more butter.

I still need to figure out the correct time and wattage for the microwave since I can choose between 600 or 900 watts. I had my toastie 4 minutes ago. I tried it at 900 watts, but the toast had become quite hard.
Next time I'll try 600 watts.
